Intellectica is recruiting a Performance Marketing Specialist on behalf of its client, a leading media organization with a strong footprint across print, digital, and multi-platform content. With an influential portfolio and a clear innovation agenda, the company is evolving into a modern, tech-enabled media group, delivering premium content and high-impact advertising solutions. Based in Athens, the successful candidate will run growth and performance campaigns (acquisition & conversion) with strict guardrails that protect editorial integrity and brand safety.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  1. A) Campaign execution & optimization (core delivery)
  • Execute performance campaigns end-to-end across relevant paid channels (setup, pacing, optimization, reporting) with a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Run structured A/B testing of creative, audiences, and landing flows; iterate based on results and agreed KPIs.
  • Own budget pacing and performance monitoring, ensuring campaigns stay within targets and constraints.
  1. B) Growth funnels (owned-surface outcomes)
  • Support growth funnels for newsletter sign-ups, registrations, app installs, and push opt-ins (as applicable), coordinating with Platforms, Analytics, and Tech.
  • Recommend funnel improvements (creative + landing + messaging) to increase conversion rate and reduce cost per acquisition.
  1. C) Attribution discipline & tracking (non-negotiable)
  • Enforce UTM taxonomy (google analytics), conversion tracking, and reporting discipline in partnership with the Tech team (GDPR-compliant).
  • Maintain a clean measurement layer (events, naming, dashboards) so results are auditable and comparable across campaigns.
  1. D) Cross-functional collaboration (Platforms / Visuals / Video)
  • Work closely with Platforms/Social, Visuals/Photos, and Video/Shorts to generate testable creative variants and scale what works.
  • Provide clear briefs to creative partners: objective, audience, format specs, test plan, and success metrics.
  1. E) Commercial enablement (where applicable)
  • Support reporting and case study inputs for outcome-based packages, ensuring performance results are clearly documented and repeatable.
  • Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing / paid media operations (in media, digital marketing, or other performance-driven environments).
  • Proven capability in campaign execution, A/B testing, budget pacing, conversion optimization, and performance reporting.
  • Strong familiarity with ad platform tooling and measurement workflows, including GDPR-compliant tracking and structured attribution.
  • Analytical mindset and comfort working with dashboards, experiments, and performance diagnostics.
  • Fluency in Greek; working English for tooling, reporting, and cross-team coordination.
