Intellectica is recruiting an ambitious and highly motivated Sales & Business Development Manager (Italy) on behalf of a prominent France and Greece-based solar panel producer with established corporate branches worldwide. The company is recognized for producing high-quality modules, cells, inverters, hybrid storage systems, batteries, and EV chargers, has an annual production capacity exceeding 2.1GW, while has successfully delivered over 3GW of solar modules in more than 100 countries. Based in Italy and reporting to the firm’s Chief Commercial Officer, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining relationships with customers in the Italian solar market. As the first hire for Italy, the candidate will be responsible to firmly establish the company’s footprint in the country.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Identifying business opportunities by segmenting the industry and evaluating prospects; researching and analyzing sales possibilities
  • Effectively Executing the sales plan to meet or exceed the set goals and objectives
  • Building and maintaining client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, securing new business acquisition & fostering customer loyalty
  • Maintaining high quality customer service and representing the company’s core values in all interactions
  • Generating comprehensive sales reports for analysis and decision making
  • Leading the expansion of the sales team in France, including recruiting, training, and mentoring new team members
  • Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • Bachelors’ Degree from a reputable university; MBA is considered a plus
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales within the Solar industry
  • Native in Italian & fluent in English
