Intellectica is recruiting a passionate and results-driven Legal Advisor on behalf of an internationally recognized Group of Companies present in the Aerospace, Defense, Security and High Technology markets. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting directly to the Group Head of Legal, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role, actively participating in all legal matters. The candidate will provide strategic legal counsel and bring robust technical expertise in corporate law, contract law and public procurement, contributing significantly to the achievement of the Group’s overarching business objectives.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Actively participating in the delivery of legal support as well as acting as a trusted legal business partner to stakeholders within the Group, including key management and other business divisions
- Serving as the Group’s representative to external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and governmental organizations
- Safeguarding the Group’s companies from legal and regulatory risks in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Offering expert counsel on a range of matters, including civil contracts, international public tenders, negotiations for overseas contracts and transactions
- Staying updated on legislative changes and in relevant case law developments
- Providing specialized advice on commercial, business and regulatory matters, collaboratively working with internal stakeholders and teams across all functions within the Group
- Engaging, overseeing, and coordinating external service providers, such as specialized lawyers and law firms in Greece and abroad, tax advisors, notaries, etc., concerning their designated tasks
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Greek Qualified Lawyer with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a reputable University in Greece or abroad
- 5-8 years’ post-admission experience in legal practice, either in-house with a multinational or listed organization or in a top-tier law firm
- In-depth knowledge of Corporate Law, Contract Law & Public Procurement
- Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite
- Fluency in English and Greek with the ability to draft contracts and commercial agreements
- Military Obligations fulfilled
