Intellectica is recruiting a Senior React/React Native Frontend Developer on behalf of a fast-growing tech startup focusing on improving governmental services by accelerating their digital transformation. Working remotely or with a hybrid scheme in the company’s offices in Athens and reporting directly to the company’s CTO, the primary goal of the candidate will be to support the company’s growth by bringing expertise and creativity, as well as coordinating the front-end team to achieve its objectives.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Designing, deploying, and managing web and mobile applications capable of running on multiple platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences across devices
- Writing effective, scalable, and reusable JavaScript code to create interchangeable front-end modules, promoting maintainability and code efficiency
- Facilitating task allocation and coordinating a team of 4 people, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring timely project delivery
- Conducting code reviews to uphold coding standards, identify areas for improvement, and mentor team members for professional growth
- Proactively troubleshooting issues and providing innovative solutions to overcome technical challenges, ensuring continuous project progression
- Improving front-end performance by diagnosing and fixing system errors and bugs, conducting thorough testing to ensure robustness and reliability
- Contributing to the development and implementation of new features and functionalities, staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Good understanding of Vanilla JavaScript
- Solid knowledge of React/React Native and at least one state management library (the company mostly uses Redux)
- Experience working with RESTful APIs
- Working with Jira and managing tasks for others
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser APIs
