Intellectica is recruiting an experienced and results-oriented Advertising Sales Manager on behalf of our client, a prominent player in the marine tourism, and luxury yachting industry, which publishes high-end magazines and organizes major yachting events. Based in Athens, Greece, the successful candidate will report to the Commercial Director of the company and will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of advertising space across our client’s publications and events.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their marketing goals, and proposing tailored advertising solutions
  • Identifying and targeting potential advertisers within the marine tourism and luxury yachting industry
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed advertising revenue targets
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, sales calls, and revenue projections
  • Attending yacht shows, industry conferences, and other relevant events to network with potential clients and industry professionals
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities

 Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in Media Sales (Media, Magazines, Newspaper, Website, TV); preferably in the marine tourism or luxury yachting industry
  • Excellent knowledge of the media industry, particularly in the yachting sector
  • Experience in exhibitions (e.g. HORECA) will be considered a plus
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluency in Greek and English
