Intellectica is recruiting a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager on behalf of a leading building materials company. Based in Attiki, Greece and reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer of the company, the successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment and implementing effective HR strategies to support the overall business objectives.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating the organization’s Policies & Procedures, by providing guidance for new HR policies, where required
- Managing and bridging management-employee relations, as well as relations between employees by addressing claims, complaints, disputes, or other issues that may arise
- Establishing the organizational chart aligned with strategic objectives, collaborating with department heads to determine staffing needs and create comprehensive job descriptions
- Overseeing and managing the recruitment and selection process by implementing effective talent acquisition strategies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver HR training programs
- Providing training plans for managers and employees to enhance their skills and performance, by fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
- Implementing performance management systems to drive employee development and engagement
- Reporting to management and assisting in decision-making by supporting the organization’s strategic initiatives
- Implementing process enhancements to optimize workflow and efficiency, by collaborating with the CEO to enhance overall business operations
- Staying up to date on employment laws and regulations, and ensuring compliance (strict adherence to GDPR)
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Master’s degree in Human Resources Management is considered a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent knowledge of HR principles and practices, with a focus on talent acquisition strategies and training and development plans
- In-depth knowledge of Labor & Employment Law
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal)
