Intellectica is recruiting a dynamic International Sales Executive on behalf of a construction company that provides a wide range of services, including constructions, fit-out projects, facilities services, and industrial engineering. The company operates both in Greece and abroad, serving a clientele comprised of leading companies and organizations. Based in Athens, Greece, the successful candidate will report to the Sales Manager of the company and will be responsible for promoting the company’s services to new and existing international clientele to achieve sales targets.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Promoting the company’s services through engaging in in-person presentations, impactful emails, and strategic telephone outreach to international customers
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets by developing and executing effective sales strategies
  • Cultivating and enhancing relationships with existing clients, while actively pursuing new business opportunities
  • Co-operating with involved departments and ensuring the provision of high-quality customer service
  • Participating in contract and agreement negotiations to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales leads, customer needs, and relevant statistics to make informed decision-making
  • Compiling comprehensive reports, tracking progress towards assigned targets, providing valuable insights to key stakeholders
  • Completing necessary documents for the company’s registration in the supplier register of new customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding process
  • Attending and actively participating in exhibitions abroad relevant to the company’s services, establishing a strong presence and fostering valuable connections
  • Keeping the sales department abreast of market trends and industry developments by updating contacts, deals, and activities

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a relevant field
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a similar role
  • In-depth understanding of the international construction market and industry trends
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility and ability to travel internationally as needed
  • Fluency in Greek and English
  • Knowledge of French and/or German will be considered a strong asset
