Intellectica is recruiting a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Auditor on behalf of an established Accounting & Tax Consultancy. Based in Marousi, Attiki, Greece, the candidate will be part of the company’s Accounting & Tax team, supporting the full spectrum of the department’s activities.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Assist in the preparation and execution of tax audits, focusing on the accuracy and compliance of Tax Certificates
- Analyze financial records, reports, and tax returns to identify tax liabilities, errors, or areas for improvement
- Support senior auditors in conducting fieldwork, including the verification of financial transactions and compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Collaborate with team members to prepare audit findings, reports, and documentation supporting audit opinions
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards relevant to Tax Certificates
- Assist in client meetings and communications to discuss audit findings and recommendations
- Contribute to the development of audit strategies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the audit process
- Any other tasks that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance: Master’s degree is considered a plus
- At least 1 year of experience working in the Tax Certificate Department of a Big 6 firm
- IFRS knowledge base with regards to interpretation of accounting standards and their application
- Excellent knowledge of English (fluent in both written and spoken English)
