Intellectica is recruiting a motivated Warehouse Coordinator on behalf of a leading company in the home furnishings industry. Based in Aspropirgos, Attiki, Greece and reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager of the company, the successful candidate’s primary goal is to manage and organize the daily operations of the company’s warehouse.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, and verifying that quantities received match packing slips and purchase orders
- Loading and unloading shipments from trucks, and moving inventory to designated storage locations using hand trucks or other equipment
- Preparing orders and recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments
- Maintaining stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate
- Keeping track of quality, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Communicating with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations
- Following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree; Degree or Certification in Logistics or Supply chain Management is considered a plus
- At least 3 years of professional experience in an organized warehouse environment
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and safety guidelines
- Comfortable with MS Office
- Comfortable with CRM or ERP software
- Fluent in English and Greek
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
